Solartherm is a compact state-of-the-art system that ensures space and DHW heating using a combination of 2 energy-saving technologies - condensing gas boiler and solar system (from 06/2010 also available with an intelligent electric boiler, 1-9 kW). The entire technology is integrated into a design case of the size of a bigger fridge so it needs just a little space. Since it is equipped with a sealed combustion chamber, it does not draw air from the indoors and can be placed literally anywhere in the house. All components are already installed inside which brings a simple, fast and inexpensive installation. The installation requires just connection to a natural gas pipe, flue gas pipe, to solar panels on the roof, to a heating system, water piping
and a sewer pipe. A current socket is needed for electrical connection, and also sensors or a remote control panel shall be connected.
An integrated electronic controller controls fluently the condensing (or electric) boiler output in a wide range and adjusts its output to the momentary need of heat for the house. It uses OTC and enables to connect a remote control unit communicating over Opentherm protocol. An integrated solar controller optimizes solar gains by means of fluent speed control of the solar pump and involves functions for a safe and economic operation of a solar system. Statistics of solar energy supplied can be viewed easily and its functions set comfortably using its well arranged menu on the graphic display in Czech.
A solar system heats DHW in a 250l storage water heater, and in periods of no sunshine the full output of a condensing boiler is used for backup heating of water in the upper part of the tank. The most up-to-date energy saving technology in one compact appliance is used here for both DHW and space heating. Enjoy this small footprint comfort and low energy bills.
