Plate Heat Exchangers

Plate heat exchangers are designed for efficient heat transfer between different fluids. They are made of thin-walled, embossed plates of high-quality stainless steel and brazed with copper. To minimize heat loss, they are supplied with EPDM rubber insulation, which can withstand temperatures up to 175 °C for short periods. They have a heat transfer coefficient up to 10 times higher than tube heat exchangers, and their heat transfer capacity can reach hundreds of kilowatts.

A major advantage of these heat exchangers is the wide variety of sizes and designs available. The exchanger can also be designed for extremely small temperature differences, which allows for maximum energy utilization, for example in solar systems. At the same time, they are also suitable for applications with high heat transfer demands, such as instantaneous hot water preparation, district heating, or large-scale solar systems.
