Air Duct Heaters

The heater is installed directly into the circular duct behind the outdoor air intake filter, before the air enters the heat recovery unit. It is primarily designed to prevent the heat recovery unit from entering defrost mode, thereby preventing the creation of a slight negative pressure in the house. The preheater is controlled by a thermostat and activates only at lower outdoor temperatures.
